There really is no set amount, however; the more people that attend your gold party the more you can earn, and the more opportunity you have to make the residual income on gold parties booked from yours. We have seen excellent results with parties which have 10 or more people.

What if some people can’t attend my gold party?
If someone can’t attend they can leave their items, a copy of their driver’s license and a current phone number with the host/hostess. Once we determine its value we will call them and get their approval. Another option is they can visit Ramsey’s to sell their gold, silver or platinum and we will still give you credit for the sale.

What about the gem stones in a ring or bracelet?
Our trained representatives are equipped with the proper tools to remove almost all of the stones from your jewelry, and return them on the spot. In the event we can not remove the gemstones we will take the item back to our store and have the gemstones removed. The guest can then pick-up the gemstones at their convenience

Do you buy diamonds at gold parties?
We can provide an initial evaluation of the diamond to determine if Ramsey’s would be interested in purchasing the diamond, however all diamonds must be reviewed in our store by a Graduate Gemologist for proper grading and pricing.

Do you hold gold parties on the weekend?
No. We have found that the most successful gold parties take place during the week.

How long does the average gold party last?
The average private gold party usually lasts around 3 hours.

How far will you travel for a gold party?
We service the entire New Orleans region and will consider any location outside of this area based on the number of guests who will attend a party.

Do you pay for gold party referrals?
Yes! As a matter of fact, every party booked from your party within 21 days makes you money.
