Robert, Sr. passes away, proud that his little jewelry repair shop has become an important jewelry store.

Robert and Lori focus entirely on diamonds. The new sign says Ramsey's Diamond Jewelers. Worldwide diamond sourcing begins.

Robert’s son Bobby joins Ramsey’s after apprenticing with important jewelry stores in Missouri and Indiana.

Ramsey's is visited by a reporter from In-Store Magazine, the principal trade publication of the jewelry industry. The reporter wrote that jewelers nationwide had been telling him about Ramsey's since 1998, so he finally took a road trip to see it for himself.

Ramsey's opens the largest diamond store in Louisiana at a new location on Veterans.
